Review of Salaar

Salaar (2023)
2/10
Military with artillery, but the hero slashes everyone with a knife. Enough said.

Warning: Spoilers
Almost 90% of characters, including the antoganists, in Salaar praise the Hero for what a great destructor he is. The value of each character in the movie depends on how much of an extreme buildup they give for the Hero character.

"He did that", "He will do that", "Until he asks, the Sun won't rise", "He is here, the universe is watching with fear" "He is a dinosaur resurrected in human form"

and so on and so on and so on and so on and so on.

You are already tired. And, this is also already a sign of worst things to arrive and they do arrive with full force. Every scene the hero Prabhas is shown it comes with some epic music as if a war was just won. Every single thug with a weapon is beaten to pulp by the Hero. No need to mention, with bare hands. No matter even if the warring group holds in possession of modern war tanks and kalashnikov's and standing right opposite the Hero with an intent to kill, the hero kills each one of them with a machete.

In one particular scene, the Hero is on the verge of killing an important character, all the 50 odd army men around him falter simultaneously in loading their rifles to shoot him. Yep, not a single one. Everyone drop their bullets or guns slip from their hands. All 50 falter loading the damn rifles at the same time. The Hero is let to finish his killing job at ease. That is how a great fighter the Hero is. Or, how cheaply incapable the villains are.

Final thought: DON'T WATCH THIS PATHETIC THING.
