"Theres Something About Mary" stands as a pioneer for the early 2000s crass commedies. The Farrely brothers begin their comedic stride with this mostly hilarious film.

There were probably 5 bits in this film that made me laugh harder then any other film has EVER. Particularly that opening prom bit. Holy cow i have never laughed like that in a movie.
The big laughs this film pulls makes it memorable alone. But aside from those huge laughs, this movie falls short in my opinion. It lacks real heart. When it isnt funny, its mostly really dumb and almost cringeworthy.
