We watched this last night and found it an entertaining little comedy.
Characters are interesting and there were numerous laugh out loud moments
It's a quirky unusual story set in 1920's little village . It reminded me a bit of the Suchet Poirot series, similar time period and it has that quality feel about it.
One thing I did like was there was no using it as a platform lecturing on modern 'values' . It was a proper 'old fashioned' rather charming and funny story.
It kept it's pace consistently thoughout, no highs and no lows, but a consistent pace and good standard with a good but not unsurprising climax.
Olivia Coleman and Jessie Buckley really shone, supported by a good cast.
Well worth a watch - solid 7.5/10.
