Imaginary (2024)
6/10
It's horror, not too intense but great if you like the genre!

"Imaginary" is a captivating horror film that offers a unique and refreshing take on the genre. Unlike many horror movies that rely heavily on jump scares and gore, "Imaginary" focuses more on building suspense and psychological tension, making it a more nuanced and engaging viewing experience. The film's plot is intriguing, with unexpected twists and turns that keep you guessing until the very end.

What sets "Imaginary" apart is its ability to create a sense of unease and dread without resorting to overly graphic or disturbing imagery. Instead, the film relies on atmospheric storytelling and strong performances to create a chilling and immersive experience. The cinematography is also worth mentioning, as it effectively captures the eerie atmosphere of the film.

I was fortunate enough to see "Imaginary" thanks to @reviewbrisbane, who provided preview passes for the screening. The opportunity to see the film before its release added to the excitement, and I can confidently say that "Imaginary" is a must-watch for any horror fan looking for something -- because there isn't much else out there at the moment! With its compelling story, well-crafted suspense, and memorable twists, "Imaginary" is sure to leave a lasting impression.
