I enjoyed it but the ending just hurt the story. I feel as if it was best if he stayed far from the family, staying in the background. Or staying in Paraguay. He seemed to enjoy being with that lady, I would have liked to see if he took the role as the family man, becoming her husband. I thought they were going to make him be her boy's stepfather, replacing his own son. I feel as if there should have been a greater contrast. I think, anyway, he should have started a family, his wife should have stayed single, raising two children. Although that's more of a personal preference. I honestly would have enjoyed it far more if the children found out their father had been alive. He did technically abandon them although it was for a good reason. Ultimately, it is good enough to watch but it leaves you with a desire for far more.
