Review of Tanner '88

Tanner '88 (1988)
9/10
Timeless

Warning: Spoilers
Being a big fan of Garry Trudeau's Doonesbury, I was very interested in Tanner '88. I think I first learned about Tanner '88 on Entertainment Tonight, but it was so long ago, 36 years ago in fact. Yet Tanner '88 is timeless, and is a must for all political devotees, especially those who have a keen eye on presidential history, particularly with the famous (or infamous) presidential race of 1988 which kind of changed the course of history (but we say that for all presidential elections I guess). Anyway, Michael Murphy, famous for being in Manhattan about a decade earlier, plays Jack Tanner, and his daughter is played by Cynthia Nixon.
