This show is fine. The acting is mediocre, story line is overly dramatic and unrealistic, and the hype on the faith portion/instant solution once characters (apparently for the first time?) discuss their inner-most motivations is trite. Ted and Roma are seasoned, quality actors. Put it on in the background or as a throw-away.
Death, abandonment, trauma are treated as simple concerns to overcome. The production is decent, nothing more.
Explaining who the characters are, their motivations, and even who each of the children are and their families is not immediately clear which makes this inferior to other similar shows like Chesapeake Bay or Virgin River.
