I remember Evening Shade, starring screen legend Burt Reynolds and also Hal Holbrook, Ossie Davis, Marilu Henner, and it's a show that pretty much defined the start of a 90s sitcom. Anyway, three years after Evening Shade wrapped up, Reynolds became a mega-star again with his role in Boogie Nights which revived his career big time, so definitely a far cry from the charm of Evening Shade. It's a shame Evening Shade was axed in 1994, but one reason could be that the high salary costs was a drain, especially with big name established stars. Anyway, it's hard to believe Evening Shade debuted over 30 years ago, and it lives on.
