An interesting and nice excursion.

I enjoyed very much this excursion in Sologne: beautiful landscapes and nice encounters.

There are some interesting aspects of the region: the forests of Sologne (about 500.000 hectares of forests, the hiking paths- Pierre-Etienne and Raymond and the Association "Les Amis des chemins de Sologne"-, Nathalie and the children playing in the forest, Philippe and the Association "L'appel des forêts"-the walk in the forests, the edible plants, the pleasure of living in the nature-), the castles of the Sologne (Lancelot Guyot and the rescue of abandoned castles, the Castle of La Ferté-Saint Aubin, the 60.000 visitors each year, Xavier and Sandrine and the restoration of the "Château de la Morinière"- the "Chantier de formation"), the gliding in Sologne ( the airport of Romorantin, Léa-the young glider pilot and her instructor Philippe-. The French Air Force, the future pilots learning gliding), the birds in the ponds of Sologne ( Angélique and the recount of birds -the famous grey heron, the eared grebe-, the painter Marie-Joëlle and the huge fresco with the landscapes of Sologne-the grey heron-, the wildlife photographer Alexandre and the pictures of the birds), the antique cars collectors (Alexandre and Laurence and the Rallye des Toques de Sologne", the pleasure to drive old cars through the beautiful landscapes of Sologne) and the flea market at the castle of Chambord (the 500 authorized antique owners, the bargain hunters, the high quality of the objects, the 30.000 visitors each year).

I enjoyed the encounters of Sophie with Nils Aucante , with Nicolas Saint-Ouen, with Achille de Sparre, with the chef Hélène Tubach, with the baker Claude François, with Nadège at Romecrot Farm, with Sandrine Sanchez at Cerdon, with Gwendoline Daragon, with Hélène Mrchisset , Vincent Aldebert and Maxime Longeaux at Saint-Dyé, with the fish farmer Vincent Hennequart, with Christelle and Freddo at Chambord; nice encounters with very kind French men and women.
