If you know, you know

If you've ever had a dog and you've had a profound, unspoken bond and you'll know if you know, you will connect with this movie, especially if you've been through all the trials of life with him/her.

Yes, it's tropey, yes it's predictable and yes you've seen it before but it does have enough of a difference to enjoy and relate Don't go in to this movie thinking it's unique or particularly thrilling, more light drama with some chuckles and a single scene that's a bit trope bending but nice and surprising to see.

The acting is pretty generic but convincing, especially marks chats with Arthur.

The growth in the 'family' dynamic is obvious but nice.

If you want something accessible, non threatening then this probably won't be a waste of time for you, especially if you've had that unspoken bond with your best friend.
