Good old Idris

Warning: Spoilers
Idris really does bring his own flavour and sauce to his films. He never does disappoint, however he did in the fighting scenes of the fallen sun. I really expected him to pack more of punch. It would've made all the more difference in the movie seeing as his escape was pretty much the opening scene. On the other hand, the fighting scenes was realistic, as I felt his struggle in overcoming his opponents to stay alive. It really gave the movie a relatable feel as not everyone is a martial arts specialist. I wasn't left with any delusions of being able to single handedly take on 10+ opponents. Where did he get is phone from? It may as well have been a magic tragic how he just shipped it out from under his mattress. A back story would've been nice as not everyone has watched the Luther series including myself. His prison break was simple, a bit more excitement would've done the job. I really didn't know what was going on. Why he ended in prison, who the random guy sending him a letter to tune into a radio was. How did he know he had a radio? A lot more could've been done with this movie to really take it up a noche. Otherwise, it was great cinematics, acting and casting. My round of applause. It was pretty graphic and gruesome which really peak my curiosity, even more so why we should've gotten to know the demented criminal a little bit more. Another great film starring Idris. I do recommend watching it.
