And a little genre-bending, too, being that it turned out to be a romcom. I almost couldn't watch at first. The protagonist's timidness was so hard to watch. Then, the mission into which he's recruited was such a realistic metaphor. But I recommend watching to the end even if you have to squirm to do it. One spoiler I'll offer is to be aware of the use of yarn throughout the film. At first, I just thought, "Oh, he has really nice sweaters." Then ,I noticed someone else had exceptionally beautiful sweaters. Textiles make a statement in this flick, especially the last sweater we see. I'm not surprised by the negative reviews. It was a tough watch, and I commend the filmmakers for that.
