I watched this late at night, and I tried not to doze off for the first 15-20 minutes. But as the film progressed, A Fish Called Wanda became increasingly and increasingly funnier. I couldn't stop laughing at the 3 scenes with the 3 dogs to the point where I almost had to pause for a laughing break. The characters were memorable, but the plot and character motives were a little forgettable. It's a beloved comedy that's aged quite well compared to other comedies of the late 80's. But because the early part of the movie was forgettable, there's only so much I can like about it. A Fish Called Wanda was solid, and I would sparingly recommend it.
