Scream is a slasher horror film directed by Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett.

The film stars an ensemble cast of The film stars Melissa Barrera, Kyle Gallner, Mason Gooding, Mikey Madison, Dylan Minnette, Jenna Ortega, Jack Quaid, Jasmin Savoy Brown, Sonia Ammar, Marley Shelton, Skeet Ulrich, Roger L. Jackson, Heather Matarazzo, Courteney Cox, David Arquette, and Neve Campbell.

Sam Carpenter returns to Woodsboro after her sister gets attacked by the Ghostface. She approaches Dewey Riley to help catch the killer, who warns Sidney and Gale.

The film has some potential and had a decent start but gets monotonous as the film progresses. The people just getting killed as if they wants to get killed and the motive behind the killing looks unrealistic and doesn't convinces me at all.

There are so much goofs in the film such as patients getting attacked in the hospital with no doctor, nurses or hospital staff is really hard to digest. Also it seems that Gale and Sidney are immortal. The murder of Judy also doesn't gets digested as a police officer gets kills in a broad daylight and there are no witnesses.

The film also lacks decent character development. The climax of the film is average and could've decent, it seems that the climax is way too stretched and the antagonist talked while trying to kill Sam, Gale Sidney which they never does while killing another characters.

Overall this film is undoubtedly a wasted opportunity. Can be watched once.
