Leslie Fuller plays a quack pill salesman. He has made so much money that he has been able to finance his sons studies to be a Doctor. The son played by John Mills rather strangely does not know his fathers occupation. He only finds out the truth when his fellow students find out the struth and set up Mills to rag his fathers stall at the local fair. However having been pelted by flour the tables are turned when it is revealed that Fuller has donated 5000 pounds anonymously to save the local hospital from closure so all ends happily. Some familiar faces are seen in this amiable comedy including Ronnie Shiner and Felix Aylmer.Fuller does well in his role.Sobering to think that he appeared in no less than 26 films in 15years but today is completely forgotten.
