okay comedy drama over comes its below poverty budget
dbborroughs3 December 2006
The local preacher is in hot water with some of his congregation because he tolerates a local night club. The preachers attitude is that so long as they remain closed on the Sabbath he has no problem with people blowing off a little steam. However he changes his mind when the club opens on Sunday. Meanwhile the club owner has other problems on his plate including a gang who wants to provide protection.

Amusing comedy drama has some funny lines, a good cast and just enough spark to make you for get that this was made for less than dollar. Running about an hour its a good introduction to some of the many films that were made in the 30's and 40's by producers too poor to even rate being included in "Poverty Row". Don't let the sparseness of the budget keep you away, this is a decent little film thats worth a look if you run across it.
