This early feature featuring the well reknowned Swedish actress and singer Alice Babs, is indeed a good introduction to her vast and ever impressive career, for most - and a pretty good, lighthearted, funny and catchy film that contains the right amount of fun without going overboard.
The actors all do a pretty good job, Alice Babs truly shines as a star, and delivers some riveting musical performances, which certainly adds to most of her films in appreciated ways.
The cinematography, cutting and editing is pretty good, and the film overall looks pretty neat - very fluid and features some stellar backgrounds and sceneries - the opening scene for one, is very notable, clever and very beautiful.
Overall, definitely a fun film. Not a deep or profound, or masterful experience in any ways, but that's not why we watch these older musical comedies. I am sure most lovers of film will find this tons of fun!
