The real sleepwalker was the director.

Raoul André was not exactly a subtle director;his filmography is a serie of duds, each one lousier than the one before.

Fortunately , Eddie Constantine is at hand and he has plenty of go,humor and phlegm ; it takes a lot of talent to go through unharmed in that nonexistent directing ,those repetitive gags and that heavy-handed farce ;now and then ,a good line surfaces ,but sadly, Audiard is not available! His co-star,Perette Pradier ,saves something from the wreckage too ,particularly when she puts on act.

The kind of flick which rests on its actors' shoulders.

Worth seeing!

Eddie Constantine is always a pleasant, tonic, funny presence. The whole film is funny and Perrette Pradier is cute. Just give it a try!
