Great substitute for a not great TV show
Quinoa198427 June 2000
I saw this special TV series a long time ago, and I liked it. It was basically a substitute for the Kraft Music Hall with Andy Williams. But honestly, I liked this better. John Davison is great as a performer, and George Carlin couldn't be better as a featured comic/writer. His older comedy material is surprisingly good (and funny) and it goes great with John Williams score (one of his first and best). Not the best TV show of the 60's, but it ranks up there. A
