An unlikely couple in love who are as different as night and day

This movie is so ridiculously silly, yet so ridiculously enjoyable! The way the movie is portrayed is really misleading. Judging by the cover of the DVD (along with the movie posters of the time), one would think that Caterina Caselli and Don Backy were the stars of the movie. Not so! The star in this movie is Giunj Marchesi, who plays Monica, a wild and crazy girl who drives a chopped down car and runs around with her small group of wild and crazy friends, who make it a point to hang out in night clubs and any place where a rock and roll act is performing.

Dario, her boyfriend is a timid and reserved young man who plays the viola in an orchestra. And he detests what is considered "modern music".

The back drop of this movie is the Beat scene in Italy (1967 style rock and roll) where famous artists just happen to show up anywhere, like at a music store, a bar or a street corner, performing their latest hits.

While Caterina Caselli is more than just one of the many rock and roll acts that provide the musical back drop, (she does perform a few of her hits), her acting role is a minor role.

Still, this movie is an essential part of any collection of rock and roll movies.
