Sex & Nudity

  • When the peep show club is introduced, brief glimpses of scantily clad women are seen in the background, including a topless woman.
  • Female frontal top nudity is seen on a poster in the background near the beginning.
  • Some plot-significant (and therefore not brief) conversations take place through a one-way mirror as part of a peep show business. Two women volunteer to remove clothing and put on a performance, but do not. There is strongly suggestive material in these scenes where a main character asks one of the women what else they do beyond talk.
  • Outside the peep show building, a child looks at graffiti on the wall that says "pussy".
  • Very brief female topless nudity, other than that some very mild sexual themes.
  • It is implied that a woman is working as a prostitute. A man calls her a whore. Very mild.

Violence & Gore

Profanity

  • 1 use of hell
  • There is very little swearing in the film--either a "goddammit" or "jesus christ" (or both), two or three variations of "shit," and two uses of "fuck."

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • A man is shown drinking beer and taking shots of alcohol at a bar. One of the main characters smokes cigarettes regularly. Another man smokes a cigar.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • The film's ending is the most emotional scene in the film.
