Beyoncé Knowles-Carter is an artist who needs no introduction. The multi-millionaire singer has wowed her audience with her music since she started in the industry with Destiny’s Child. After some additions and replacements, the girl group ended up with Beyonce alongside Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams in 1990.

But a decade and a half later, the singers decided to go their own way, and Beyonce ended up being a sensation in the music world with her solo career. She is not only a singer but has also tried her hands at acting, like Dreamgirls (2006) and The Lion King (2019). The latter is spawning a prequel movie with Beyonce returning to voice the character of Nala opposite Donald Glover’s Simba. But the new movie is once again, hinting at some nepotism debates to start soon.

Beyonce‘s career breakthrough came in the 1990s as a teenage member of Destiny’s Child. But since then she has established herself as one of the biggest music stars of the 21st century. So naturally it’s challenging to narrow down the greatest hits of her career … not that we let that stop us from trying, though. Scroll down for our countdown of her best songs — including “Countdown”! Do you agree with how we rank them?
Destiny’s Child had several hits including “Survivor” and “Bills, Bills, Bills,” but it was “Say My Name” that earned Beyonce her first Grammys when she was only 19: Best R&b Duo/Group Performance and Best R&b Song. She has since become one of the most awarded individuals in Grammy history, the most awarded woman in history, and the most nominated woman in history. But most of the top categories have eluded her.

Beyoncé sent her fans a shocker on Super Bowl Sunday, using a Verizon ad to announce “Renaissance Act II” and drop two brand-new country songs. But members of the BeyHive with a penchant for half-hour comedies got a two-for-one deal, as the pop star appeared in the commercial opposite an unexpected partner: “Veep” and “Arrested Development” star Tony Hale.
Hale has spent years of his career playing awkward, offbeat beta males overshadowed by powerful women: “It’s a forte of mine,” he says, reflecting on what his newest collaborator may have in common with Lucille Bluth and Selina Meyer. He felt at home at Yoncé’s side, though, he isn’t totally sure how much she knew about him in return. “We really didn’t have much time to chat,” he laughs. “I didn’t ask her, ‘Have you seen my work?'”

Johnny Depp, Nicolas Cage, Drew Barrymore, even Marlon Brando. They all dabbled with movie directing - but only once...
Once upon a time, in the deep annals of Den Of Geek history, I interviewed the mighty Dolph Lundgren. I found him a fiercely intelligent, friendly man, and we got chatting about directing movies. I said to him that I genuinely admired anyone who could get a film made, and he seemed a little taken aback. “Thank you”, he said, “it’s more difficult than people think”.
And that’s why this article, even though it’s going to talk about some films that aren’t always particularly successful, is not going to come at you from a place of snark. Directing, after all, is hard, and our respect and admiration goes to those who tried it and who, for whatever reason, haven’t done so again. The way we see it?...

Everybody loves Bill Murray. Okay, maybe that's not 100% true, but there are days where it seems like it's true. Bill Murray is well aware of the way people feel about him, and over the course of his very strange career, he has taken full advantage of the latitude that people grant him because of the persona he has cultivated. Bill Murray has become something more than a comic lead, something bigger than a movie start, and arguably something more impressive and enduring than a legend. Bill Murray is an urban myth. Talk about transcending your corporeal form, man. We've all heard the Bill Murray stories, wild tales about the actor showing up at a party, staying till dawn, then doing all the dishes in the house before slipping out the back door without a goodbye, or tackling someone in the park before whispering to them, "No one will be believe you.
