Actresses are reportedly planning to wear black to the 2018 Golden Globes as a sign of protest against sexual harassment -- but Rose McGowan is not here for it.
The 44-year-old Charmed star, who was one of the first actresses to speak out with allegations against Harvey Weinsten (claims which he denies), took to Twitter on Saturday to slam those choosing to wear black at the awards show for their "silent protest." Though Meryl Streep, Jessica Chastain, Emma Stone and more are reportedly planning to participate in the red carpet trend, McGowan called out Streep specifically, and suggested that actresses should wear dresses by Weinstein's estranged wife's label, Marchesa, to the event instead.
"Actresses, like Meryl Streep, who happily worked for The Pig Monster, are wearing black @GoldenGlobes in a silent protest. Your Silence is The problem," McGowan tweeted. "You’ll accept a fake award breathlessly & affect no real change. I despise your hypocrisy. Maybe you should...

Saturday Night Live celebrated the holiday season with a politically charged cold open this weekend based on Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol.
After sitting the last few episodes out, Alec Baldwin returned to reprise his acclaimed impression of President Donald Trump.
In the sketch, Baldwin's Trump says he's in "pouty baby mode" over the ongoing investigations by Robert Mueller and fired National Security Advisor Michael Flynn's decision to plead guilty to lying to the FBI as part of a rumored deal to reveal information regarding Mueller's probe into possible Russian interference in the 2016 election.
As Trump ruminates alone in the oval office, he's soon visited by Flynn wearing heavy chains and shackles (a la Jacob Marley) who calls himself "the ghost of witness flipped." Flynn warns Trump that he's going to be visited by three other ghosts as well, starting with Billy Bush (in the role of the Ghost of Christmas Past).

A spokesperson for Weinstein previously told People in a statement, “Any allegations of non-consensual sex are unequivocally denied by Mr. Weinstein.

Harvey Weinstein hired private investigators to assume false identities and “extract information” from Rose McGowan and other women who have accused him of sexual misconduct, according to Ronan Farrow’s latest New Yorker article.
One of them, who used the alias Diana Filip, met with McGowan several times and presented herself as an employee of a wealth-management firm based in London called Reuben Capital; she told the actress that “we have a lot in common,” all while actually being in Weinstein’s employ. The person wasn’t just a private investigator, writes Farrow — she was a former officer in the Israeli Defense Force.

Saturday Night Live returned over the weekend after a three-week hiatus and kicked off the new episode with a cold open that saw Alec Baldwin's Donald Trump getting naked and taking a shower with Paul Manafort (played by Alex Moffat).
The sketch primarily lampooned the recent federal indictments passed down by Robert Mueller against Manafort and others in Trump's presidential campaign over alleged Russian interference during the election.
However, the cold open didn't miss a chance to address the ever-growing scandal surrounding Harvey Weinstein.
As Baldwin's Trump met with Moffat's Manafort at his home, where he's currently under house arrest, the president demanded that they speak somewhere more private -- namely, Manafort's shower.
