A man has sex with his wife however we just see an outside view of the house during this. During the scene we hear moans and the bed creaking. Then we see inside the room the next morning and they are on top of each other (nothing seen other than head and shoulders) and the wife makes a sexual reference.

An inmate grabs a guard and makes a strong homosexual reference and then grabs his genital area before releasing him.

Many sexual and homosexual references throughout some including the F-word.

References to a man raping little girls a couple times.

Two little girls were raped and murdered before the story begins (we see their bloody bodies in a flashback).

Wild Bill grabs Percy and yanks him up against his cell bars, grabbing his crotch.

A man is executed, but due to a purposefully botched setup , the man is zapped for a long time, his body convulsing from the electricity and flames breaking out on his body and under his death hood as he screams (this goes on for what seems like several minutes). Additionally his head then catches on fire and he is alive through all of this so they can't turn the chair off.

Awakened at night, Hal aims his rifle at Paul and Brutus and then acts as if he's going to shoot John Coffey.

Coffey grabs Percy by the throat and lifts him off the floor.

A man repeatedly shoots another man, before others tackle him.

We see a flashback to the killer verbally threatening to kill the two sisters.

We see Paul's urine stream (he has a urinary tract infection).

In a flashback we see some blood on a country home's floor and door.
