Propaganda??? I think not!
teshababe7 September 2005
To quote the user imcintyr, "This documentary was obviously put together as some kind of propaganda.

Interesting comment from somebody who thinks that the movie Snatch is "intense".

Anyways here is the non-ignorant description for this video: As the Nazi killing machine engulfed Europe with terror, thousands of Jehovah's Witnesses suffered brutal persecution. In this video, 10 historians from Europe and North America, and more than 20 Witness survivors, join in relating a story of courage and triumph that must be told.

Very Informative

Although it is noted that some viewers labeled this video as 'propaganda', it is far from it! The video is in no way making out the witnesses as saints, but simply telling their heart rending true story.

This is a very informative video that gives a perspective viewpoint of Hitler's Nazi assault on Jehovah's Witnesses. Of course, it doesn't contain a great deal of information on Jews, Gypsies and other groups targeted by Hitler's reign of terror, but isn't that the point of the title?

"Jehovah's Witnesses Stand Firm Against Nazi Assault" is a clear, accurate and historical documentary about just that - the stand this minority group took against the Nazis and the moral victory they won.

Moving account on persecution against religion

Warning: Spoilers
Simple yet, well directed piece, about "different" groups of people other than just the Jews, that were victimized by Hitler and the Nazi regime. Jehovah's Witnesses are made fun of repeatedly for they're beliefs but seem to withstand the harshest punishments imaginable. Knowing they had the opportunity to "get out of jail free" but still showing they're unwavering resolve, relays the passion and intensity of these noble people. I felt very touched by the stories of those interviewed and how they still have no regrets for not trying to save they're lives and signing a document renouncing they're faith. How many of us would do the same if our lives were on the line? There just aren't many people like this out there anymore. I not only admire and respect them greatly, but with i could be like them.

The only volunteers in Nazi concentration camps?
bigtp-123 October 2014
The only volunteers in Nazi concentration camps

The Nazi officers and the ordinary Wehrmacht soldiers had to go where they were sent, if they were assigned to Sachsenhausen, that's where they had to go. The poor Jewish prisoners were savagely rounded up and shipped in appalling conditions. The only way they could get out of the camp was by dying in the gas chambers! There was however a small group who were repeatedly offered their "freedom", all they had to do was to sign a document renouncing their faith, stating that the Bible was a false doctrine. They had to accept Hitler as their Fuhrer or leader and accept the Nazi party as the highest authority in their lives. Bear in mind they were living in the most inhumane conditions devised by man. Would you have been tempted? If they refused to sign they were threatened with death, and not a simple quick death either! Torture was commonplace in these demonic death camps and this group were targeted because of their refusal to go along with Nazi edicts. This group were true Christians who refused to worship anyone other than the true God and his anointed Son Jesus Christ! They spoke to others about Bible teachings at every opportunity, and the Nazis hated them for their "subversive" activity. The Nazis wanted to control everyone in Germany and wanted to extinguish every voice of opposition to their brutal totalitarian and racist rulership. Who were this one group who had a "get out of jail free" card but didn't use it? Jehovah's Witnesses. Find out some facts about them on www.jw.org or please speak to them the next time they call. With Christian Love Tony

Standing Firm A;always Good

Anytime any one (Shindler or any one) stands against the Nazis then it's a good thing. The more standing against Hitler and the killing factories, the better. The beliefs of the people here is not important just like I don't even know or care what religion Schindler was. The important thing is that anyone with the courage to stand against the Nazi's is noteworthy. Let us all honor anyone who endured and anyone who stood up against the Nazi monsters. What would have happened to Hitler if the German's on religious grounds, refused to go along with him? What if even the soldiers said, I am willing to fight for my country, but this Holocaust stuff is sick and I want no part of it?
