Perhaps the worst of superstar Ashlyn Gere's starring features, this is an example of lousy porn that makes for a far better trailer than complete movie.
That's because the hack director (check out his list of gonzo credits in IMDb) has taken the famous Schwarzenegger hit "Total Recall" and created what amounts to a tedious, repetitious all-sex feature from its basic premise.
Even the starting point is bungled: we see Randy West wake up from a nightmare and have sex with wife Gere, but he turns out not to be the principal protagonist. Instead, a female friend suggests to Gere that she try a new service that allows one to realize one's erotic fantasies by a primitive version of Virtual Reality.
Supposedly to help her husband, she goes to the Reball company to try out this service, and the movie becomes all-sex from then on. A confusing and irritating scene in the Reball office (extremely poor and nondescript "office" set has Wayne Summers harranguing customer Gere, constantly rushing her along as if he were the busiest man on earth, taking her to his sci-fi equipment which consists of a dildo, not even as sophisticated as a Sybian machine, and dark glasses for her to experience sexual VR.
It's an excuse for us to watch three boring MOS sex scenes accompanied by an ethereal music score designed to put the viewer to sleep. Sex workers in these scenes are all wearing shades like Gere's VR goggles and highlight is Peter North climaxing with an extremely copious (even for him) cum shot all over Madison's glasses. It looks far more interesting in the movie's trailer.
Video is bookended by Gere's sex scenes, after we've seen her fake-orgasmic over and over riding the VR dildo. A catchy pop-rock song plays during these opening and closing sex scenes. For variety's sake, when Gere returns home in the final reel to have sex with her husband, he is not Randy West but instead bigger-dick Rocco Siffredi, his dick in closeup giving away the switch before his face is shown. Rocco was one of the studs in the VR footage.
