A story of a man who thinks he got the best of somebody only to find he himself was bested.

Warning: Spoilers
This is a incredibily funny film. A woman needing a house sitter looks for help and finds it in a bumbling theif. Not only does he get trapped in the house with the dog, but she drives him to the brink of madness laying down rules and constantly bugging him. This is a well done film that deserves the accolades it got. It tells a fairly complex story in a short amount of time, and keeps you glued to your seat the entire time. A Brit flick for sure the humor can be dry at times, although it is not hard to follow. I don't want to put in anymore spoilers then I've already got here but this film is worth the time, watch and enjoy.

Immensely clever and unique!

Warning: Spoilers
This film received an Oscar nomination for Best Live Action Short and it surely deserved it because the plot was so immensely clever and unique. I can honestly say I've never seen another film like this one! A pretty young lady is at the train station and she deliberately drops her house key while at the train station on the way to a holiday. A young thief picks it up and goes to the house with the intention of robbing it. However, once in the home, he finds that it's a fortress and he doesn't know the access code to get out!! Soon, the phone begins to ring and he eventually answers it. The lady who dropped the key is there and said she set up this crook because she needed someone to watch her home and take care of her dog!! While he tried to argue with her, she ignored him and told him where he could find everything he needed. Stuck, he has no choice but to comply and hope she doesn't call the police.

Now doesn't this sound imaginative?! To make things even more interesting, there's far more to this story. What happens next is super interesting and entertaining. Give this intelligently made and well produced film a look. Unless you are a total prat, you'll love it.

PS--As an American, I am quite proud of my use of the word 'holiday' and 'prat'--they seemed quite appropriate as this is a British film.

PPS--If the tune for the short sounds familiar, it was later used as the theme song for the Showtime series, DEAD LIKE ME.
