Un programme de bonne qualité
Varlaam29 March 1999
This is a wonderful programme for kids. Unfortunately, it's only in French. It's funny, clever, and never condescending. English-Canadian programmes of similar distinction would include "Friendly Giant", "Mr. Dressup", and "Polka Dot Door". This show has perhaps a little more variety than any of those however. And there are no high-tech special effects, of course; this is high-quality, well-scripted programming, done the old-fashioned way.

Gamin, the big furry dog, is the funniest and fuzziest character.

Possibly a dubbed version of this series already exists and I simply haven't seen it. Anglophone children would certainly enjoy it if it did.

Actually, semi-dubbed would be preferable. You wouldn't want to dub "Alouette" as sung by two mice, with musical accompaniment provided on the spoons! Now that's Canadian!
