Spoof of the Olympics
RealLiveClaude15 August 2010
The "Charlots" made a lot of movies in the 70s with mostly slapstick humour. They made fun of many subjects, such as the French Army, the Three Musketeers, James Bond or even Dracula.

This movie spoofs the Olympics (named the Continental games). A young grocer's girl falls for a flame bearer who will compete and her jealous ex-boyfriend along with 3 other friends go to Paris to represent France for the games. They do many events, but mainly the goal is not the gold here, but snatch the girlfriend from a jock.

There is a lot of slapstick here, but the main thing is that they mock so much in a running gag, the "no publicity" rule in all Olympic events...

A movie that is not much outdated, the Olympics are still around...

Great, great fun

This is one film I would like to see over and over again. This is one film my sons would like to see over and over again. This is one film which most of my friends wouldn't mind seeing a second time. In fact, this film was proposed by a student who went on to become the Institute topper at IIT Kharagpur, India's premier Engineering College, for a Hall Day show.

This is a film which has a single motive. To have fun. Unadulterated fun. Fun which can be shared by all. This film can be viewed with friends, kids, parents, spouse.. the entire lot.

The English subtitle, available in India is titled 'Crazy boys of the game'

Crazy comedy
mrdestroyer20015 May 2019
Like many other early comedies of Claude Zidi, this one advantage is peculiar - not caring about any integrity of the plot, not being afraid of critics and snobs, Zidi just takes a bunch of gags and combines them into one full-length film. Comic reprises played by the popular comic quartet "Charlot" exist by themselves, only slightly connected by one, sports theme. Quartet "Charlot" (Charlot - as the French called Charlie Chaplin) - purely buffoon actors, their humor is absolutely physiological, the comedy "slaps" - falling, changing clothes, fighting, breaking and destroying everything at hand.

Each member of the quartet in itself does not represent anything, but when they get together, there is no limit to the jokes and jokes! I think the success of the film depended on them to a great extent, although Claude Zidi contributed his own part - he just brings many situations to absurdity. Such absurdity, coupled with simplicity conquer the viewer.

If you are fans of stunt, gig comedies, then "Crazy at the Stadium" is a movie for you. Moreover, the role of the windy seducer in the film is the beauty Martin Kelly - a girl with a perfect figure, a pretty nose. huge eyes and a charming, disarming smile. In this film, it is simply impossible not to fall in love!
