Excellent first half; second part is almost another film

Very underrated crime film. Its first half is quite good. With good cinematography, there is a series of events, more symbolic than properly realist, which is a brutal protrayal of greed, lust, dishonesty and lack of principles and of empathy by millionaires, particularly when it comes to lower classes. The orgy scene is particularly interesting; instead of exploiting flesh, it used interesting aesthetics to transmit a Dionysian or Bacchic atmosphere. Indeed, cinematography is skillful. Afterwards, however, there becomes a completely different film in the second half, with a less convincing web of conflicting schemes by part of those millionaires, basically abandoning the initial interesting plot.
