Amazing What a Few Pieces of Wood Can Do
Hitchcoc4 March 2019
This parody on the Pinocchio story is really funny. What happens when a carved puppet does not get a visit from the good fairy. He becomes a bunch of parts, but soon he is embraced by several elements of society. He even has a career. It is based on the fact that he can't really respond to anything. It's hilarious.

Very interesting version of Pinocchio! And funny too! This short tells the story of the life and times of Spinnolio, the puppet. He's treated like everybody else when he go to school, when he finds work. He even become a member of the Satan's Puppets, a biker gang! Hilarious!

Out of 100, I give it 78. That's good for **½ out of ****.

Seen in Sudbury, on December 31st, 2002.

Hilarious satire of Pinocchio

Terrific Canadian cartoon which takes on the rather silly story of "Pinocchio." The puppeteer here is nuts, however, and the "real boy" remains inanimate as he is essentially dragged through life. The dipsy-doodle ending is the perfect topper. One of the funniest pieces of animation I've ever seen. I still laugh when I think of an inanimate puppet staffing the complaint/return window of a department store, then being promoted when the return rate goes down to zero.
