Great Sattire
ajjunair11 October 2006
It begins as story to build a new bridge in a remote hamlet in kerala. The president of panchayat( local self government)wants the new bridge to be built,so that the contract can go to to his Son-in-Law to be.The opposition party objects as there is corruption involved in this and they require their rightful share. Finally they bomb the old bridge rendering it useless and start building a new one with government allocated funds bribing bureaucrats etc... One whole fun filled joyride that describe the politics in Kerala and whole of India.A must watch for all with stellar performance from every one like Bharat Gopi,Tillakan,Nedumudi Venu,Srinivasan

Saddening satire
rtoac116 September 2019
This is an accurate reflection of how affairs in the country are run. Where vested interests "create work" to fill their pockets. As an uncle of mine would say jokingly when an innocent me had asked him years ago why the roads get damaged just after a repair. He'd say if they wouldn't get damaged how would the contractors get work again! And that's the gist of the message here. Where all stakeholders in power and money join hands at the expense of the common public and exploit the country. The religion angle is exactly how Kerala politics happens today.

The movie talks about how politicians deal with situations. This movie is one of the best work by KG George, the visionary director of Malayalam cinema.

Must watch policitcal Satire

A cult classic movie which depicts satire at its best. One of the best from the master technician K G George. Having the best actors in Bharath Gopi and Nedumudi Venu, this is a treat for the movie lovers. This movie has lived through generations and still feel fresh.
