The Fun of making good films
fusstuqq26 September 2023
This was the era in which the greatest directors, such as Asma Al-Bakri, lived. She enjoyed creating scenery and the easy, fun performances of actors, and this is the magic of cinema that has an impact after 25 years!

The story is very simple and yet not weak. There is a sense of humor in the dialogue, a wonderful composition of the scenes, and as long as it is an opera, there are performances and music throughout the film The story delves into the culture of Cairo at all levels, from the slums to the opera house, and displays it beautifully through poetic cinematography.

The film is one of the greatest works of Egyptian cinema in the nineties.
