Thoroughly decent

As a kid, I loved the Burbank Animation Studio animations. From a 20-year old adult perspective, some like Hercules, Hunchback of Notre Dame and Little Drummer Boy didn't hold up but others like Count of Monte Cristo, White Fang, Hansel and Gretel and Hans and the Silver Skates did. Camelot on the most part did hold up. It is not perfect, the dialogue as with a lot of BAS' output is on the corny side and while it is a nice story with some sense of exciting adventure there were parts that felt padded complete with an ending that I wasn't all that surprised by. However, the animation I didn't think was too bad, the colours are brighter than Hercules and Hunchback of Notre Dame and the characters are more realistically drawn than those for Pocahontas or Goldilocks and the Three Bears. The music is rousing, while the characters are engaging and the voice acting is decent, far improved over Little Drummer Boy and Puss in Boots. On the whole, a decent Burbank animation. 7/10 Bethany Cox
