Shoddy British demonology tripe.
EyeAskance16 October 2008
Archaeology professor Bradford Dillman is happily married to Juliette Mills until her demeanor becomes increasingly bitchy and irritable, ultimately rousing his suspicions that she may actually be a greedy, malevolent, and short-tempered ancient demon.

This lackluster scrap of British horror was shot on video, and had the cheap look of a daytime drama. I caught it by chance on some "movie-of-the-week" type program on American television sometime around '77 or '78, and it's a wonder that I have even the slightest recollection of it, as it was forgettable to say the least. The highlight came during the closing credits...Ms. Mills in a slinky dress, her blonde hair ravaged by a wind-machine set to "Hurricane" on the dial. In choppy slo-mo, she makes menacing, but seductive faces and gesticulations, and lays it on with a trowel. I was cracking up.

Despite the strong cast, it's a rarity not especially worthy of a search, and it seems to have disappeared from the face of the Earth, anyhow.

3.5/10.
