Langit Petang
shaun-majid6 October 2005
A prostitute, an old Malay man who refuses to be a sell out to corporate greed, and a news reporter on his last assignment to document and decipher their saga. Three worlds, collide on a day not more than ordinary to others, under an evening sky. What's the connection? In a world of small village and big city folks, love is cheap and right down ugly in offering its solution to happiness. The movie is directed by Shahrom Mohd.Dom, based from the national novelist A.Samad Said. The movie which came out in the early 80 featuring award winning performances both by the leading actress,Azean Irdawaty, and supporting actor, Mohammad June. It is one of the best adaptation work from novel to the silver screen in the budding world of Malay Film.
