Definetly not Satô's best work but still interesting enough to be worth your time. Its concept is quite solid and it is developed well enough, what it does kind of lack however is impact. A lot of the scenes serve a uniquely for exposition and it makes for a movie that seems at the same time streched out and rushed. I think that this is because here Satô is going for a relatively more commercial picture so he can't take the liberties he used to take in earlier films but he still hadn't found a way to convey more "traditional" looking stories. So overral good film, i just wish it was as short as his pinkus.
