Stimulating, evocative, poignant
Dark Raven1 April 2002
See those 3 words Stimulating, evocative, poignant? Those are the words used too many times to describe the kind of crap shorts that get commissioned in this country. So guess what? Braineater is none of those things. So alas here is an Irish short that happens to be pure fun. It happens to entertain it's audience. No, not just the turtle neck tossers, I mean everyone. People say there should be more filmmakers like McMahon. I say no. I believe there is a lot of truth is the old saying 'The best things come in small doses'. The IFB should embrace people like Conor McMahon, and others like Ciaran Foy and Andrew Legge. Young filmmakers that have that rare talent to appeal
