This movie is sort of unique, but it is different than most Chinese movies of its time. This movie is just a simple biographical accounts of several childhood friends who grew up in the same neighborhood, from when they were were young, all the way to the adulthood. Nothing extraordinary, so the entire plot is as dull as dishwater.
