I saw this movie a week ago and i found it really enthralling. Although it being a story centered around a dysfunctional family, i would think many people would be able to relate to at least one side of igby's character. i was impressed by culkin's performance which was looked genuinely troubled .A feeling that is experienced by a lot of young people his age regardless of whether one had a rich family to provide material comforts. Clair Danes' performance too was played out to the exact requirements of the movie not looking over sophisticated but painting the picture of a troubled girl herself. The soundtrack too was incredibly placed to perfection suit each character's moods at the particular setting.to sum it up when the song "take a load of annie" plays towards the end the audience would have to be absolutely stone cold not to be moved by it.
