A picture that exists for the sake of a worthwhile observation that is brought out at the end. It is poorly developed and fails to convince us that it is a "slice of life" in any sense of the term. Winnifred Greenwood plays in it a stage-struck girl daughter of an actress whom she doesn't know. One wonders at first why she is shown with a mania for dancing. Her foster mother seems to be dressed as a trained nurse, and we were not sure the girl was not "under observation." It turns out to be her way of showing her desire to go on the stage. We don't get really interested in her until the end, or near it; but then we do. - The Moving Picture World, March 15, 1913
