I loved this short film. I thought the music was wonderful and the animations at the end captured the spirit of the film. My favorite scene is the confessional; John Astin's delivery was superb and Robin Larsen's reactions right on. The actors did a great job especially the young girl who played wee Finn. Lyle Kanouse did a terrific job portraying the dim-witted milk man, who just seemed to always be interfering in Finbar's life. I also enjoyed the great sequence and turn of events at the end of the movie. The only part that I think could have perhaps been done better was the forest scene. It was a bit choppy, but perhaps that was what the director was going for. Overall, I thought this film had a great mix of dark and light comedy and a very interesting lesson. I have shared the film with an array of people who also really enjoyed it.

Excellent Film With A Great Christian Message
johnstonjames16 August 2010
Warning: Spoilers
"vengence is mine" says the Lord. Christians should always remember this when they get vengeful or hateful. look, a little vengeance is only human, but lets not get carried away.
i get really p.o.'d at the things that people do that is evil, and i have'nt always been treated right, and i feel lots of vengeful feelings toward my enemies (which are probably more than i realize), but then i look to God and Christianity to mellow me out.
this was such a great little film with such a good Christian message, it made me want to become Catholic like the characters in the film. i'm a protestant so that won't happen. but i thought this was a thought provoking experience with a strong Catholic vein to it.
everything about this little film was perfect. the script, acting, and production design were perfect. it's hard to believe this was a student production, it was so polished and professional it looked like a mainstream production.
the message here is profound and almost everyone should see it. vengeance can ruin you, and like the catholic Nun in this movie, God may not forgive you.
