A honeymoon farce with plenty of fun. It is quite French and could hardly have been made by an American producer, but is clear and will be understood. It gives us the amusing experiences of the two honeymooners, Leonce and Poupette. and depends a good deal on the sub-titles, but does not lack character studies. The photography is as usual in Gaumont offerings. - The Moving Picture World, November 22, 1913
