I just went out from the screening of SUSPECT at the world film festival of Montreal. I choose this film because i have a hole in my schedule. So i didn't know exactly what it was about. That's why i didn't hate it, but this movie was a little bit too corny ( specially the scene of the mother who cry with the tacky music). Anyway, the plot of the young teenager who accuse the stepfather of sexual abuse is interesting. A good start with an honest cast who deliver pretty well the emotions. Sadly after 45 mins the story fell with a few cliché and slow down a little bit. If you don't mind about a little touch of TV movie than you'll probably like it, but in the other hand if you search the buried treasure of the 7th art, STAY AWAY.
