Best videotape production I worked on at Anglia Television, Norwich.

Location: a disused World War II aircraft hanger, Snetterton, Norfolk. Depths of winter, freezing cold: moi, floor P.A. Mixer with Marcus as assistant, e.g. coffee-supplier extraordinaire. Shoot duration: six weeks or thereabouts. Further information on behind the scenes in ISBN 0-906836-40-0 pp. 136. An Anglia-WGBH Boston co-production. Lighting Director ROGER LAW won an Emmy for his lighting design "I'm painting in light". Colin and Greg Were Executive Producers, Bunny, Producer. Meticulous attention to detail by ALL involved on the production, as Anglia Television was known as 'The Regional Television Company with The International Reputation": 'Survival', Tales of the Unexpected, Orson Welles' Great Mysteries etc, etc. For the Record. At the age of 10 years, my Daughter Charlotte was one of 10 children chosen for the young chorus skaters. I was employed as the Chaperone for the children. It was freezing cold but we were so well looked after over the course of our week of filming. The children were entertained by a brilliant female magician by the name of Fay Presto who advised on all the special effects. The saddest thing is that the copy I had of the recording was loaned to a fellow skater who never returned it to me. I am now 78 & this brings back such happy memories of that time.
