- Knives can be used to slice throats of enemies with a lot of blood. Machetes can be used with a lot of blood as well. Necks can be snapped when doing stealth attacks.
- Several of the Warriors' rage special moves involve breaking limbs and necks.
- Characters become bruised and bloodied the more they get hit.
- A man is set on fire with a molotov and burns to death.
- There are intense violent scenes, there is violence throughout the whole game: Fighting can be seen with blood, the plot of the game is about a gang who get blamed for the death of a rival gang leader, and they have to make it back to their turf on Coney Island, while every gang in the city is looking to kill them.
- Similar to GTA, but you can't steal cars. In the beginning of the game, your character can freely mug people and rob stores.

- There is a hobo named Rudy who drinks a lot when you see him in the game. The hobos are promised liquor after a gang initiation.
- Most of the Warriors and pedestrians smoke cigarettes.
- The main health powerup 'Flash' is portrayed as a drug. The character snorts it, like cocaine to regain health.
- One of the Destroyers, LC is a drug addict. A flashback level involves going into a flophouse and beating up Destroyers who are on flash and taking it over for the Warrior's hangout.
Frightening & Intense Scenes

- The graphic violence a player can participate in could be considered disturbing to some. You punch kick headbut your way through the game you can stamp on heads beat people with bricks bottles bats pipes knuckle dusters etc you can also cut and stab with knives machetes broken bottles. Some opponents will fall to the floor and vomit then pass out whilst being kicked and stamped on . There is a cheat that can be entered which gives the player steel toe cap boots.
