Not a really noir tale here, rather a light comedy suspenser where we find our three lead heroes: Jeff, Stu and Kookie all together to take care of an actress on whom some threat exist, some potential attempts on her life. You watch here some backstage intrigue, a kind of interesting stuff about how it works between actors. Oh, that's not ALL ABOUT EVE either, but I repeat, entertaining, typical of the series. And this was a long time since we saw our three investigators together on the same case. But it's not the most unforgettable of the whole show. Don't expect too much please. One more time directed by the "house" episode maker of the show Georges WaGGner.

This one is one of those rare episodes where both Efrem Zimbalist, Jr., and Roger
Smith as well as the rest of the Bailey&Spencer firm are in the cast. Even associate
Richard Long is involved.
There's a party at their favorite hangout Dino's where agent Walter Reed has the whole firm escorting his various clients. There's a plot against one or more but Reed doesn't know who.
The Bailey&Spencer folks are suitably matched to some Hollywood egos. Best for me is Louis Quinn being matched with silent screen diva Beatrice Kay who also follows the sport of kings.
Amusing episode with a bit more comedy than usual.
