A good episode. It begins with a girl strung out on heroin named Sparky (Sian Barbara Allen, she had appeared in many guest shots on TV, including "The Waltons", "Columbo" and "Ironside'). Norman Alden plays a cynical narc who has seen it all. There is a disturbing scene of a raid on a child porn ring. The end of the episode has a standoff with drug dealers, Malloy gets shot, setting up Part II.
