Baretta in love
searchanddestroy-11 April 2016
This time, our cop happens to help a young and beautiful woman badly involved between the mob and the Feds. Witness to testify and the whole stuff, see? And, as you can guess, Baretta will be the pain in the ass for all those folks. Especially when he falls for the girl, and tries to protect her against an underworld kingpin also in love with the gal. Some good action sequences which confirm to us that Blake was really an action man, an actor who worked without stunts. Interesting character relationship between him and the fugitive from the mob girl whom he was in love with. Moving story. Good love story for which I was the first surprised to be so interested in. And, believe me, that's not my cup of tea.

She's Outta Yer League
TheFearmakers6 November 2018
Baretta hasn't fallen this hard in love since the pilot episode, and the girl is way out of his league unless she's dating Robert Blake the actor, not Baretta the lowly cop. The actress looks like an early supermodel and the plot is similar to another Baretta episode: with Margot Kidder titled The Secrets of Terry Lake, where a woman is being pulled in by the mafia to stay-put. Here it runs deeper as Baretta's supermodel Italian girl was married to a mobster, and is sought after by them and the feds, making Baretta risk more than he ever did: his life and career. A decent episode that gets too lovey-dovey for its own good... or, for it's own average.
