So moving tale
searchanddestroy-122 January 2016
I really put this episode apart, because of the story. Not really a crime scheme with by bad gangsters. No. You have Burt Young in one of his best performances ever, at even a better scale than the ones he showed with the ROCKY series. Let me explain. We watch him a s simple minded guy, a gentle fellow unable to hurt anyone, but who unfortunately brings bad luck on him and his friends in particular. And you have guessed that he is a good pal of our lead Robert - Baretta - Blake. Burt Young is absolutely terrific here. The perfect character for him, he is so moving, every one among the audiences wants to help him. Poor guy asking for love, for help, who has only Baretta as a friend. Look out for the sequence where the two of them are in the old bus, in the car cemetery. One of the best of the whole show that may make you weep. I am not joking. Although don't expect any car chase or gun fight.
